Our StaRN program is hiring! If you’re a registered nurse and would like to inspire the next generation of nurses in Richmond, Salt Lake City, or Las Vegas, consider becoming a StaRN instructor. No prior teaching experience is necessary!

StaRN – short for Specialty Training Apprenticeship for Registered Nurses – is designed to bridge the skills gap between new graduates and experienced nurses through a combination of classroom and hands-on specialty training.  Each cohort lasts 10 to 22 weeks depending on specialty, during which StaRN instructors act as mentors, educators, and preceptors to newly-licensed registered nurses.

Our West Florida team recently completed our comprehensive recruitment training! These trainings, which are taking place at each of our offices nationwide, demonstrate our commitment to operational excellence and cultivating a high-performance culture. The trainings are hosted by HWS Vice President of Professional Development John Ruffini.

Our Dallas office hosted its Bring Your Daughters and Sons to Work Day on Thursday, April 25! The group of 19 children met our team members and engaged in activities to give them better understandings of what our departments do and what the company does as a whole.

HCA Healthcare CNO Dr. Jane Englebright is among the nominees for Modern Healthcare's 50 Most Influential Clinical Executives of 2019! HealthTrust Workforce Solutions is a fully-owned subsidiary of HCA Healthcare. 

The top 50 executives will be narrowed by a public vote, which is happening now through May 10, as well as by input by Modern Healthcare's senior editors. 

Team members in our Sunrise and Orlando staffing offices held a donation drive to support Kids in Distress! The teams donated bags of clothing, toiletries and other essentials to benefit families served by the organization.

We would like to congratulate Chester Willis, HealthTrust VAS Manager for the TriStar Market, on earning a scholarship to the Massey School of Business at Belmont University for a Healthcare MBA! HCA Healthcare awards six Healthcare MBA scholarships each year to members of the HCA family who are interested in expanding their healthcare careers.
