The HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Leadership Development Program is designed to cultivate the continuous growth and professional development of our team members through formal mentorship, leadership exercises, presentation skills development and more. Each year, the organization selects a new group of about 20 leaders to complete the Leadership Development Program.

“My biggest takeaway from the program was the importance of behavioral growth,” says Ashlee Joselin, Director of Enterprise Operations, who completed the program in 2019. “You can be a subject matter expert in your field, but if you don’t possess the leadership skills and capabilities to drive your team toward success, you won’t make it very far.”

As a fully-owned subsidiary of HCA Healthcare, HealthTrust Workforce Solutions team members can take advantage of the benefits offered by the nation’s largest health system, including Education Assistance. The Education Assistance program encourages team members to enhance their professional growth by expanding their knowledge, skills and potential for advancement through continued education by offering both tuition reimbursement and student loan assistance.

“Having this kind of support from an employer to assist you in meeting your personal goals and saving you money is priceless,” says Yukary Torres, HWS Senior Program Manager for MSP Operations, who was able to earn her bachelor’s degree in business administration by using the tuition reimbursement benefit. “This opportunity helped me complete a long-time goal I had that was pending all due to financial strain. Having the flexibility to be a full-time employee, mother, and a student is beyond rewarding.”

Our Nashville team assisted The Bridge Ministry with their weekly meal and clothing distribution for local individuals in need. The team unloaded a semi-truck full of groceries, set up the distribution area, passed out items to guests, and helped pack everything up for next week's distribution. We would like to thank our Nashville team for giving back to the community!

This team is made up of three seasoned professionals who work strategically to ensure every department within the company is trained in areas such as customer service excellence and recruitment best practices.

The latest BLS Economic Situation reported that the U.S. economy created 130,000 new jobs in August and payroll wages have increased by 3.2% over the past 12 months. The healthcare sector continues to boost the Jobs Report, contributing 23,900 jobs and accounting for 18% of all job creation last month.

Congratulations to Billie Mosley on becoming our first team member to earn HealthTrust Hero two times!

Billie Mosley currently holds a dual role as both Director of MSP Operations and Director of Client Delivery. In his operations role, Billie supports all of our MSP clients through designing reporting, validating data, implementing best practices, and serving as a consultant for any issues that may arise. For his role in client delivery, Billie manages the communications and escalations for one of our large health system clients.

“I love what I do – I wouldn’t be satisfied if I only had one type of task every day,” Billie says. “I thrive in a little bit of chaos.”

As part of our ongoing organizational commitment to professional development, HealthTrust Workforce Solutions recently hosted a training session focused on recruitment best practices. This training is designed to help our recruiters become more proficient in their day-to-day activities as they work to deliver the highest level candidate experience and connect clinicians with meaningful work.
