Congratulations to Anne Marie Mello, RN, on earning a DAISY Award! Anne Marie is a HealthTrust nurse who works at Englewood Community Hospital located on Florida's west coast, and was presented with the award by this facility. 

"To me, the DAISY Award represents the truest form of nursing validation and is the highest honor in my nursing career," Anne Marie says. 

On Saturday, August 10^th, team members from the HWS Sunrise office volunteered for Habitat for Humanity, which is working to build seventy-five homes for low income families in the community. Together, the Sunrise team painted a four bedroom, two story home! Thank you to those who came and volunteered their Saturday to give back to the community!

Occurring annually during the second week of August, National Locum Tenens Week recognizes the vital role that locum tenens serve in the delivery of medicine today while working as physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners. 

Our Employee Advisory Group hosted a Back-to-School Donation Drive at our Sunrise corporate office! Team members donated notebooks, backpacks, markers and more to support the Broward Education Foundation, a resource center where teachers receive free school supplies for their students in need. 

The U.S. economy created 164,000 new jobs in July and the unemployment rate remained unchanged at 3.7% nationally. The healthcare sector added 30,400 jobs, with nearly all job creation occurring within ambulatory care settings.

Our Account Managers, Division Vice Presidents, Regional Vice Presidents, Clinical Operations team and more gathered at our Sunrise corporate office last week for training and discussion on how we can build stronger partnerships with the healthcare facilities we serve. In addition, the groups engaged in team building activities and social mixers to further strengthen their partnerships with each other. The event was facilitated by our Professional Development Group.
