In addition to week-long celebrations for nurses and hospital staff, May is also the time to celebrate Oncology Nursing Month and National Critical Care Awareness & Recognition Month!

We would like wish a happy Mother’s Day to all mothers, grandmothers, foster moms, birth moms, stepmothers, and maternal figures who make a difference in the lives of others!

As Nurses Week comes to a close, we would like to thank every nurse who is part of our HealthTrust family.

Not only are we celebrating all nurses this week, but we’re also celebrating all hospital staff! National Hospital Week runs May 7 – 13, 2017.

The pace of hiring picked up again in April after an initially slow start earlier this spring. Unemployment dipped to 4.4%, the lowest level in almost a decade. If the rate drops again it will match a historic 16-year-low.

Nurses take excellent care of their patients, and we want to ensure that nurses are well taken care of during National Nurses Week. In celebration, we’ve compiled some food and beverage deals for National Nurses Week that are sure to make you smile.

Our Sunrise Recruitment team and their family members volunteered with the American Red Cross for their Home Fire Preparedness Campaign! The team visited homes in the community, installed free smoke detectors, and educated families about fire safety procedures. The team helped 14 families and installed more than 30 alarms over the course of the day. 

Kevin Marzilli is our next corporate HealthTrust Hero! Kevin works at our South Florida headquarters as the Office Manager, responsible for the functionality, safety, and cleanliness of the facility.
