As we reach the end of the academic year, we would like to thank everyone who promoted early literacy by becoming United Way ReadingPals!

Nineteen HealthTrust Workforce Solutions team members signed up to be ReadingPals, which required each member to spend one hour per week reading with a child. Many of these children were Kindergarten or first-grade students at Flamingo Elementary School.

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions would like to welcome its summer interns!

We have seven interns starting this week, including three familiar faces who interned with us last summer. Their first few days were filled with learning about HealthTrust and performing team building exercises (pictured), and they will join their respective departments later in the week. 

Today we celebrate all of our HealthTrust healthcare recruiters. In honor of their contributions, we would like to share some insight on what it means to be on our recruitment teams. 

The U.S. added 138,000 jobs in May, furthering indicating that the country is approaching the tightest labor market seen in years. The unemployment rate edged down to 4.3%, the lowest level seen since May 2001.

Chester Willis, BSN, RN is our next HealthTrust Hero Clinician!

Chester is a Vascular Access nurse at Williamson Medical Center in Franklin, Tennessee. His skill set, bedside manner, and genuine kindness have all earned him the highest of praises by both his colleagues and his patients.
