Shirley Ramirez is our first corporate HealthTrust Hero! Shirley has worked with the company for 18 years in the finance department and is currently in accounts payable. Locum tenens have gained favor over the last several years, with up to 94 percent of healthcare facilities using these contracted physicians and nurse practitioners for short-term assignments. Good news for ER nurses: HCA is expanding its urgent care centers and free-standing emergency departments across the country. This expansion is to help alleviate the high patient volume experienced at HCA’s traditional emergency rooms.

On Valentine’s Day, our corporate headquarters sold more than 600 carnations to raise money for the United Way of Broward County. Many of our team members gave these flowers to their coworkers as a token of appreciation for their hard work and dedication.
