On the 15^th anniversary of 9/11, we honor the memory of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.

Parallon Workforce Solutions Onboarding Specialist and Office Administrator Marion Pelote traveled from Las Vegas to Denver for training and team building with the Denver office. While she was there, Marion spent an evening at Ceramics in the City to paint pottery with Office Administrator Jennifer Bridge, Onboarding Specialist Becky Bishop, and HR Business Partner Whitney Drucker.

As everyone heads back to school, spirits run high. For students, though vacation is ending, friendships are renewed, minds are engaged and everything is fresh and new. Associate recruiter Conni McCarter won four tickets to the Miami Dolphins’ final preseason game against the Tennessee Titans! Parallon Workforce Solutions hosted a contest for employees at its Sunrise, Florida headquarters for the tickets to the September 1 game at Hard Rock Stadium.

Emergency nurses need to be ready for anything. These nurses are some of the first people to see patients who suffer critical injuries or experience health emergencies. Oftentimes, these patients have not yet received a diagnosis, so emergency nurses must be quick on their feet and skilled in decision making when every second counts.

Parallon Workforce Solutions sent nearly two dozen nurses to assist in Louisiana immediately following the state’s historic flooding. Many of the nurses stayed for more than a week to help in areas that received the most damage. Although a healthcare facility’s patients are always at the top of a nurse’s priority list, the medical staff also needs to be supported after disaster strikes.
