Kevin Marzilli is our next corporate HealthTrust Hero! Kevin works at our South Florida headquarters as the Office Manager, responsible for the functionality, safety, and cleanliness of the facility.

“I was overwhelmed by the support I received from the senior management and from my peers,” Kevin says of his nomination. “All of the emails congratulating me were touching and unexpected.”

Every May, we celebrate the importance of the passionate, skillful people who selflessly dedicate their lives to improving the lives of others: Nurses. With National Nurses Week starting this upcoming Saturday, we’d like to take a look back at the history of the holiday.

At HealthTrust, we believe in the value of cultivating our employees to help them achieve their career goals. Many times, this results in internal promotions based on matching our employees’ strengths and skillsets to positions that help them move through their personalized career paths.

Our West Florida team and their families participated in Feeding Tampa Bay’s Family Night! The team directly served the community by making fresh lemonade and packaging 2,174 pounds of potatoes. Overall, they packed 190 boxes of food and served 657 people!

April 24 – 28 is Patient Experience Week, an annual celebration of the people who touch the lives of patients across all areas of healthcare.

Tomorrow is Earth Day, a time to celebrate the environmental sustainability initiatives taking place around the globe. According to EarthDay.org, more than a billion people celebrate Earth Day every year, making it the largest secular observance in the world.

We at HealthTrust aim to improve the lives of our nurses through finding them the perfect job placements. In an effort to help healthcare organizations better understand the needs of nurses, we’ve put together a 10-minute anonymous survey to find out what nurses really want in a job.

MSP Program Manager Melda Peterkin is our second corporate HealthTrust Hero!

Melda’s role is to fill the travel nurse vacancies at HCA hospitals in North and West Florida. She accomplishes this through frequent communications with approved staffing vendors, HealthTrust's travel recruitment department, and the healthcare facilities she works on behalf of.
